ANDREW O'NEILL, DANIELLE WARD, SEAN MCLOUGHLIN

Saturday 7th November

BACKDOOR @ THE SECOMBE - SUTTON

An occultist heavy-metal comedian, Nottingham’s third best lady female hip-hop MC and one of the unluckiest men on the planet.

ANDREW O’NEILL, DANI FRANKENSTEIN and SEAN MCLOUGHLIN come to Back Door @ The Secombe

for a night mixing the darkness of Halloween and the explosive fun of fireworks.

Andrew O’Neill is a stand-up comedian, a metalhead, an amateur occultist and a musician. He has showered the TV with his presence, (including Never Mind The Buzzcocks, and Saxondale with Steve Coogan) and lots of radio (including BBC Radio 1, Radio 4, Radio 4 Extra, and 5live) but live is where the hidden mind-control signals planted in his work are most effective. A regular on the comedy stages at Download, Sonisphere, Bloodstock, Leeds and Reading festivals. He’s opened for Amanda Palmer off of the Dresden Dolls, done audience warm-up for Never Mind the Buzzcocks, hosted the Metal Hammer Golden Gods, played at Torture Garden and the Bizarre Magazine Ball and load of other events where people mainly wear shiny things.

“An increasingly distinctive, imaginative act... brilliant, genuinely unexpected lines are added to the mix. At this rate, it won't be long until he's huge.” Chortle

“One of the funniest comedians on the circuit at the moment... hitting new heights of comedic brilliance.” TimeOut

“So funny I put him in my new TV show.” Steve Coogan

Danielle Ward is DANI FRANKENSTEIN Nottingham's third best lady female hip hop MC (from the Bestwood Park/Top Valley area) Dani Frankenstein brings her unique mix of sexy ballads and high energy beats to Sutton. A new show from Danielle Ward, Time Out award-winning comedian, writer and musician and brains behind Fringe hits Gutted, Karaoke Circus and Do The Right Thing. Heard on Radio 4's News Quiz, The Unbelievable Truth and Dilemma (which she also invented), seen on Mock the Week, Newswipe and NBC's Last Comic Standing.

Sean McLoughlin is one of the hottest properties on the comedy market. A purveyor of hopeless tales of his increasingly unfortunate life, this 27 year old comedian has had more bad luck than most, but when he tells you about it you can only laugh. Sean has gained reputation and following with successful Edinburgh comedy shows, was recently seen on Russell Howard's "Stand Up Central" and this year is embarking on his first solo tour.

✭✭✭✭ “At one hilarious and painfully revelatory” Chortle

✭✭✭✭ “It’s a tour-de-force of a performance. One-line gag merchants would struggle to match his laugh count.” Gigglebeats  “What a genuinely fresh and powerful voice…it is wonderful” The Scotsman

✭✭✭✭✭ ”The material is raw and different has the fairly packed audience laughing the entire hour, as his wit and personality dominates” ThreeWeeks
