Star of Channel 4's weekly 'STAND-UP for the WEEK' - Romesh Ranganathan is one of the UK's brightest stars.
Fresh from a nomination for best newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival he is certainly riding a crest of a wave.
We are excited to welcome Romesh to LC - with his stories of being a reluctant and grumpy father and family man, confused with what society continually throws at him.
“Packed but unhurried… exudes a confidence, not to mention ability, of a far more experienced comic”
Steve Bennett, Chortle ****
“Ranganathan is definitely one to watch” Broadway Baby ****
“Every time I have seen him he has blown the room away” Adam Bloom
Hosting the evening is another TV star.
Fresh from co-hosting Xtra Factor - MATT RICHARDSON is a great MC and we are proud to welcome him.
Halfway through a sell-out nationwide tour, the nemesis of many an Olly Murs fans and once the youngest professional on the circuit - he is boisterous and naturally funny.
"This (extremely) young stand-up is poised to be the next bright, young sensation on the circuit" The Guardian
Opening the evening will be MAX DICKINS – former Sony Award nominated DJ, Max seems far too pretty to suffer the slings and arrows that punctuate a joke laden set of stories and thoughts chronicling his ascent into manhood and separation from a frustratingly happy childhood which provides no comedy material whatsoever!
Our final act is hilarious ascendant newcomer KATE LUCAS – with the face of an angel and songs to make a docker blush, Kate is an unexpected revelation and a wonderful taste of something different for the middle of the show.
